Four friends—Milan, Pavel, Ludek, and Tomas—set off their, this time a real enduro bikes trip, from Bukhovo, eager to conquer the mountains north of Sofia.
The journey began with a challenging ride through Gorno Kamartsi, pushing their limits on the rugged trails before reaching Zlatitsa, where they paused to catch their breath. The next day, they ventured deep into the woods around Gabrovo, their tires carving paths through trails inside the forest.
The highlight was a visit to the eerie, abandoned communist lodge at Buzludzha, perched at 1,190 meters, where the winds whispered forgotten tales of history. They finished the day’s ride at Shipka, being their overnight lodge for other two days. They continued to a cozy hotel in Ovoshtnik before making their final push to Koprinka, enjoying beach-send riding along in rugged sandy trails around the place. This was the day, however, when Ludek fell down the bike and broke his ankle… ;(
